I will start by telling you that I didn’t think that dating sites could lead to real love. Until I saw on my own skin that miracles can happen, I thought that those love stories are just part of an advertising strategy…that they weren’t real.
I joined the site out of pure curiosity, after a failed relationship. Searching on the site, I came across a “mysterious” person, without too many details in the profile and without any picture. What caught my attention was that we have the same birthday (a different year, though, of course) and that we are both very tall. I messaged him, we got into a conversation, we wrote to each other more and more and, along the way, we discovered that we have a lot of things in common. We fell in love without intention and without realizing it. We met on Valentine’s Day, in February, and we’ve been inseparable ever since. In August, when I had my birthday, we also got engaged, and in the near future, we plan on having our dream wedding.
We both came to the same conclusion: someone up there loves us and made it possible for us to be together. We believe this was the hand of destiny because it can’t just be a coincidence. We are soul mates, we complement each other, we love each other enormously, every day, more and more.
